GREAT NEWS!!!!!!

Hey Everyone!

Well we had a quick trip to MD Anderson! We were expecting to have a stable MRI as Ben has improved so much over the last month, but we were not prepared for what the medical team told us. BEN'S TUMOR SHRANK! Yes that is right it SHRUNK! One year past diagnosis and with two episodes of tumor regrowth no one expects the tumor to shrink. We were hoping for stability and we got shrinkage - we are beyond excited. Now this doesn't mean we are out of the woods by any means but its definitely a step in the right direction!!

Now we are focusing on Thanksgiving! We have A LOT to be thankful for this year!!! And of course the Big Birthday is coming up! That's right the big 6! A very large celebration is in the works - with the help of a WONDERFUL group of parents and friends! I am so grateful for the help, I was getting a little stressed out wondering how I would get it all together! I love you guys!

So keep those prayers coming they are working!!!

Much love

The Sarrat Family!

Ahoy Ben,

We hear we have lots to be thankful for these days! That is always good news!!!

Things are so good, that we have a hodpodge of jokes and there's more than our normal three! Hope they make you smile!!! =)

Why didn't the skeleton cross the road?
Because he didn't have enough guts!

What is in a ghost's nose?
BOOgers!

What do you get when you cross a dog, a car and a bird?
A flying carpet.

Why is 6 afraid of 7
Because 7 8 9.

Why is it easy to weigh fish?
They have their own scales!

A cowboy went to town on Friday. He stayed there for 2 days and and came back on Friday. How did he do it?
His horse's name was Friday.

Well since it is Friday, we'll say, "Adios Amiogs!!!"
Love you!,
Dave and Ginger

And I thought Friday couldn't get any better...this is fabulous news! We'll be praying over dinner tonight that the tumor keeps shrinking to the point it's nothing more than a distant memory.

Thanks for sharing the wonderful news!

Best, jill

Ben, we couldn't be happier !!! Julia Grace told me the GREAT NEWS as soon as I picked her up from carpool !!! The power of prayer and good meds!!!

See we told you that little "believe in miracles" pillow was filled of prayers for you to heal!!! Hope it's hanging near your bed to fill your heart and head with happy dreams of a wonderful 6th birthday.

I held it and prayed for my babies when they were struggling in my tummy and I brought it to Mass alot with us to fill it with prayers for you too!!

You are my Hero little man; you and your Mom!! Keep fighting the good fight and I'll bring you some more spaghetti soon!!! Happy Thanksgiving...we now have alot to be thankful for !!!

Happy Thanksgiving to a special niece and her family. Erin, this will be a very special day you and Ben will long remember. Wish we could all be there with you, but I know you have a large extended family to share this day with you. Little Ben you continue to do what you have been doing so we can get even greater news in December. You are proving the power of prayer does work. We will continue to keep you in our prayers. Love to you and your family.

Hi,
My name is Maddie. I'm a seventh grader at Bens school. And I would just like to say when Ben came on announcements and told everyone this great news my friend I started bawling in our lockers. Just to hear Ben speak and to see him touches my heart everyday. I know I have never met Ben in person but I already love him and I know my whole class feels the same way.
We love you Ben,
Have a Merry Christmas.
