Good Day

Hey Everyone

Well overall it was a good day. Ben had his port accessed for the first time and it went great no tears, no pain. Yeah 4W nurses!!!! Ben did great with the first chemo, took a 4 hour break running fluids and then started the second chemo, second went well then the last ten minutes he got a little sick, sweaty tummy ache your basic feeling ickey! Luckily the cousins arrived and lifted his spirits. So all in all Ben did great today, he is very tired and still feeling ickey but it looks like we may be able to go home tomorrow afternoon if he has a good night.

We will keep you posted.

Fabulous news!!!
Ben - you are the toughest little pirate I know! We're glad everything went well and can't wait to see you soon. I'm going to Sam's tomorrow and stocking up on more food so you can feed that ferocious appetite of yours.
LOVE YOU LOTS BIG MAN!!!

Ben,

Patrick was all set to spend time with you in the hospital, but it looks like you're too tough for that. Guess you'll just have to play without the "hot" nurses, as Patrick calls them. Sigh, you boys are growing up too fast for us moms.

Glad you're doing so well. See you soon.

Ahoy Ben,
Glad to hear you have a good set of nurses again. Since you are in the hospital, we thought we would send some body-type jokes to bring a smile to your face. =)

Why was the nose sad?
Because he did not get picked!!!

What did one eye say to the other?
Something between us smells!

How did the boy get the Egyptian flu?
He caught it from his mummy!

Where did the ship go when it was sick?
It went to see a dock!

Well, did it work? We sure hope so!
Love ya!
Adios amigos,
Dave and Ginger
