Pirate Ben,

Myriah and I hope you have an awesome birthday! We both have to work tommorrow, maybe you should make our bosses walk the plank! Did you by any chance wish for snow for your birthday? Or maybe it was your Mom, her wishes seem to be coming true lately! So glad you are feeling better, have a great day!

Love,

Ms. Amy & Myriah

Dearest Ben,

Thank you for the invitation to your party today. The girls and I had a wonderful time between our friend Ken the Magician, the Train rides, the balloon puppy and heart, the Pony Ride, the Birthday cake, the playground, the Bounce Houses, ice cream and funny Pirate masks. Whew, no wonder you were worn out, your party was everything a child could have hoped for…you are blessed with the kindest, most generous parents I’ve ever had the pleasure to know.

Chloe’ fell asleep on the ride home holding her goodie bag as Julia Grace daydreamed about playing with all your mutual SAS kindergarten friends including Max and Amelia and Kamryn and Iris.

I’m so glad that you had fun and it turned out to be a beautiful day…although a bit cooler than God promised your Mom. Do know that Liam wishes you a Happy Birthday too. He was called to duty at our Flower Shop today. There are Dominican and Chappelle dances tonight and we had bouts and corsages stacked to the ceiling to be picked up. Liam is great at fetching them (sorted by last name) and ringing up at the register. I will pass along your comment on the Army theme for his 9th birthday, although I think he's leaning toward Legos Star Wars.

Mr. Jay was delivering flowers all day, so that’s why he couldn’t come. Enjoy opening that mountain of gifts and visiting with your out of town family. And thank your Mom for us, for the directions and the balloon placed strategically on Belle Chase Hwy. When I saw the pirate face, I knew we had arrived.

Love, Miss Janel and Julia Grace, Chloe and Liam too

Happy birthday, Ben! I'm so glad to hear you had an awesome day with your family and friends. It sounds like your birthday party (parties?!) was the place to be in New Orleans this weekend. Much love to you and yours,
