Afternoon

The doctors have called the home health nurses back in now. They will access his port again to draw blood, make giving him fluids easier, and giving him any necessary medication easier. We think he will begin needing pain medication soon.

Keep holding on lil Ben! My name is Brandy Denny Smith and my family and I are in Monterey, CA just south of San Francisco! We are spreading the word about you and your amazing fight! You are SO strong!! I am in the navy and my command and I are trying to organize a fundraiser for St Baldricks and their foundation to battle pediatric cancer! My brother Randall works with your dad and he lets me know how you are from time to time! He says you are the most AWESOME little boy he has ever known! Keep being you buddy! And keep an eye on the mail, we have a post card we bought in San Francisco on the way for your map!! Feel better soon Ben! And Mrs Erin and Mr Ben - you're doing an amazing job! Stay strong and keep God close to your heart! Praying for all of you! If anything is needed (or wanted) from the west coast please let me know! brandy.denny@yahoo.com

Pirate Ben, you are truly amazing... I have never had the pleasure and pure joy of meeting you or your family, I live far away in Nebraska. I have been keeping my eye on you since your blog started ;-) you are so strong and such a fighter, I really feel like I know you thanks to your Mom and Aunt keeping the blog up! I have 2 little girls, one is the same age as you - she would surely have a crush on you if we lived closer! May God bless you and your family... keep fighting this fight!
