Change of Location

We decided to move Ben to Children's hospital early this morning. We were having an extremely difficult time keeping him comfortable over night. When we got ready to move him we found that he had hemoraged out of nose because of his low platelets, and his port was not functioning properly.

We got him into the last available room on 4west. That Dr. Velez has got some pull when she makes a phone call at 7am. They were waiting for us to get here. They have already fixed the port and we are now waiting on morphine to make him a little more comfortable.

We will try to update again later in the day.

Hi Pirate Ben!

This is my first to visit your site. I understand you are one, tough pirate-type guy from a very sweet princess friend of mine with the initials J-AC.

I want you to know I'm praying for you and your family and asking the Lord to bless each of you with those certain, special things He sees you stand in need of right now. ♥

By the way, I live 'way up in the USA almost to Canada and it is chilly outside today even with the sun out. The thermometer reads 0*F and because there is a little wind the temp feels like -12*F! Brrrrrr.... :o0

The Igloo Life
The good thing 'bout living in an igloo is your house can never burn down.
And you never have to wash the windows or vacuum the dirt off the ground.

The bad thing 'bout living in an igloo, besides being very cold,
is there's no place to plug in a TV
and watching ice melt gets real old.
