Great Clinic Day!!

All your good wishes must have worked because I had a GREAT clinic day today. My blood counts were good today, so good in fact that I don't even have to go to clinic next week !!!!!!!! And then the next week I only need to get blood counts I don't need to see the doc -much faster those days. I did an antibiotic nebulizing treatment just as a precaution today so clinic took a while but it wasn't as long as some kids have to be their so i am lucky. I didn't cry at all for my blood draw today. My mom was super proud of me because usually I scream in her ear the whole time - but she doesn't mind.

My Aunt MegO left today so I am going to miss her a lot, but she said she had to go home to make sure that crazy Uncle Mikey wasn't growing his mustache back!!

Tomorrow I am going to see my cousin Olivia is a school program. I am very excited because I hear she is really good.

I am excited for Christmas, Santa sure is going to be busy this year because I know how good you all have been. I went to see him yesterday and told him how good you all have been to me so expect extra presents this year!!

Love you
Lil'Ben

Hey, Li'l Ben,

Such great news all around (esp. about not screaming in your mother's ear--that must have been an early Xmas present for her!!! Sorry to hear Aunt MegO had to leave today, but obviously it's an emergency with Uncle Mikey possibly growing his mustache back. Tell us all about Olivia's part in her school program tomorrow. Of course, she's really good---she's your cousin, isn't she?!

Here's an extra Disney joke for an extra good, brave pirate:

What do you call Donald Duck when he conducts an orchestra? A con-DUCK-tor. Ha, ha, ha, ho, ho, ho, groan.

Little man, I am SO HAPPY that your clinics went well today! And I am really PROUD of you for being such a big boy during your blood draw. I knew you were a strong and brave pirate! Pirate Papillion must have really taught you well.
We sure are gonna miss your Aunt Mego but, hooray, Grandma's coming tomorrow!!! Is Grandpa coming too? I sure hope so.
Santa's gonna be busy alright - busy getting ready for Christmas for you and Shaunee! You guys have been so good that I'm sure you're going to get all kinds of terrific presents.
See ya tomorrow.
All the love in the world...
Ms. Mel

Ahoy Ben,

That is soooo cool that today turned out so well for you! Sorry your Aunt Mego had to go but I heard you grandma is coming back to see you tomorrow.

One thing that seems to make you happy is going to school, so how about some school jokes today?

Why did the knight run about shouting for a can opener?
He had a bee in his suit of armor!

Teacher: What's 2 and 2?
Pupil: 4
Teacher: That's good.
Pupil: Good?, that's perfect!

Teacher: When do astronauts eat?
Pupil: At launch time!

Speaking of time, it must be time to say, "Adios amigos!"

Hey Big Guy,
Soooooo glad to hear you don't have to go to clinic next week. Then grandma & grandpa can take you out to lunch. You sure look pretty cool sitting on that cycle, looks like it was made for you. I am so proud of you for not screaming in mom's ear. When I have to have blood drawn,I just shut my eyes real tight and it doesn't hurt as much. I'm sending a treat with grandma for you and your family. Love you so much and be very good, as Santa is coming soon.

HI Ben!
This is Robin out in cold Colorado. I have to say that you are an brave, tough little man. I work in a hospital and I see LOTS of people have their blood drawn and I've seen GROWN-UPS cry and even faint from having their blood tested. So great job, you're stronger and more courageous than a lot of people.
I really like your Harley picture. I think the helmet looks almost as good on you as your pirate bandanna. Maybe on days when you aren't a pirate, you should be a biker.....
Have fun at Olivia's school program tomorrow.
Love, Robin

Here's a joke from my daughter Chloe, she's 6.

How do you know when it's raining cats and dogs?

When you step on a Poodle!

Have a great weekend. You're in our prayers every day kiddo.

Hi, Ben,

Was glad to see your mom at the SSC Xmas party today and that fudge was delicious. She also did the stork diets for me. I am so slow that I'd only finished the wild cats when it was time to go over to ACRES and help Ms. Gwen fix up the tables. Megan's present, which everyone thought was a snow shovel, but was really a cougar print broom, was the most popular present in trading. Here's a Disney joke for the day (hope I haven't sent this one before): Why was Cinderella thrown off the basketball team? Because she kept running away from the ball!
Hope your grandma arrived safely.

Love, Megan's, mom, Peg

I spent the day helping Jack get Megan, Mike, Kyle, and Lauren's house ready for their grandma to come visit from Houston tomorrow since they were all at work and school. Anyhow, hope you'll have fun at the Oaks. And here's a joke for tonight:
What did the 101 Dalmations say after eating dinner?
That hit the spot.
